Easy to get more customers

I claimed my business on Yelp a while back and recently decided to try out the Call to Action Button feature. It was super easy to add to my profile. I noticed more people clicking through to my website almost immediately. It's nice to have that direct link for potential clients. Pretty happy with how it's working out for my little shop.

Helpful for my restaurant

I decided to try out Yelp Waitlist and Yelp Reservations for my restaurant after seeing a promo. The setup process was surprisingly smooth, and linking it to our existing system took less than an hour. Customers found it very easy to use from their end, and our hostesses appreciated not having to manage a paper list anymore. The analytics provided were also quite insightful, showing peak times and no-show rates. I did have a question about integrating with our POS, and customer support responded within a day with clear instructions. Overall, a solid service that streamlined our operations significantly.

Decent for local reach

I used Yelp Ads for a month. Setup was quick. Got some new customers. Price was fair. It did what it said it would do.

Good value for a new business

As a first-time business owner, I was looking for affordable ways to get exposure. I signed up for Yelp Ads and got the $300 advertising credit. It made a huge difference in getting my name out there without breaking the bank. I tracked the leads, and it definitely felt worth the investment. The analytics helped me see where my money was going.

Yelp Ads worked great!

I just started using Yelp Ads last month for my small business, and it's been fantastic! I got the first-time advertiser discount and my calls really went up. It was so easy to set up and the dashboard is super user-friendly. I'm definitely going to continue my campaign! I've already seen more customers coming in through Yelp. Will use again!

Good for exposure, some setup issues

I tried Yelp Advertising for my new cafe. Getting the 'Business Page Upgrades' was pretty straightforward, and I did see an increase in visibility. However, setting up the ad campaign initially was a bit confusing; the interface could be more intuitive. I ended up calling support to clarify a few things, and they were helpful, but it took a while to get through. The value for the money seems decent for the exposure received, especially with the initial credit they offered.

Is Yelp still the go-to for local business reviews, or is Google Business Profile taking over? Trying to decide where to focus my marketing efforts.

E Emma 2 months ago
Google is big, for sure, especially for searches. But a lot of people still actively check Yelp specifically for reviews before trying new places. It feels more 'review-focused' than Google's listings.

Honestly, depends on the type of business. For restaurants, Yelp is still super active. For services, Google might get more eyeballs. Both are important.

I'm looking at advertising my new boutique. Any promos for first-time advertisers or like a free trial?

S Sarah 3 months ago
Yeah, they usually give you some advertising credit when you sign up for ads for the first time. I got like $200 when I started my little shop's ads last year.

Definitely, they're pretty good with that. Check for the 'new advertiser' offer, it's usually automatic for your first ad campaign, like a $300 credit.

My ad credit still hasn't shown up on my account. Is there a promo code I need to enter somewhere for the 300 dollar thing?

C Cody 3 months ago
For new ad accounts, the credit usually applies automatically to your billing cycle. You don't usually need a specific code unless it's a special deal. It should just show up as a credit towards your ad spend.

Naw, it's not a promo code you type in. It just gets applied to your account as a credit. If it's not there, maybe contact their support? Could be a slight delay.

Anyone know if you can use like, two Yelp vouchers for a restaurant deal at once? My friend and I both bought one.

J Josh Vargas 2 months ago
Nah, pretty sure you can only use one per visit or transaction. Most deals like that are single-use.

i think it says in the fine print on the deal itself, but typically it's one per customer or per table. i'd check the specific deal details.

Thinking of trying Yelp Ads for my new cafe. How much do those usually run? Is it super expensive?

A Anna L. 2 months ago
It really varies, but they usually give new businesses some free ad credit to start, like a couple hundred bucks. So you can try it out without a huge commitment at first.

yeah, they give you a credit, like 100-300 dollars usually. After that it depends on your budget and how many clicks you want, you set it yourself.
